How do i become a highschool football coach?

I want to eventually become a college football coach, and i know i have to get my graduate asisstant degree. But, it seems that you actually have to know someone to become a coach now a days. Is there a website or someplace where they list head/assistant coaching jobs?

if you go to a school website they usually post when there is a coach opening, or at least at my school they do. Once you find it there should be somewhere you can apply, and if you can’t, contact the athletic director.

The best thing to do is to contact the athletic director at the schools in your area. They will likely put you in contact with their head coach who will talk to you and, if he likes you, bring you on as a walk-on (unpaid) assistant. It’s very unlikely that you can get a head coaching job without some experience.
